Jody Hedlund’s latest novel, Waters of Time Book 1: Come Back to Me, beckoned me to once again appreciate her literary talent. This time her readers get to travel to present day Boston, Massachusetts and Canterbury, England, United Kingdom and into the past to the times of the Peasant Revolt led by Wat Tyler in England. Her vehicle for time travel is unique and fitting as a way for Marian Creighton to search for her father and a cure for her sister’s disease. Marian is a strong-willed woman scientist who meets her match with William Durham, a faithful and loyal English knight, who encounters her and offers her protection. Marian must race against time in past and present to complete her mission of finding the way to bring her father out of a coma and sister’s cure. Will she find the cure and make it back to present from the past?I won my physical copy of Come Back to Me from a giveaway. I also had previously pre-ordered an e-copy of Come Back to Me. I enjoyed every moment of reading of this novel. I highly recommend this intriguing and fantastic novel of medical quest and faith.
